For the benefit of others too thick to live, I’ll just mention that Twitgit stopped working for me when I changed my password to include an illegal character (@) and started working for me again once I got rid of it.

Great job! I am really enjoying this so far.

Some comments:
-it would be nice to show people’s twitter usernames. Right now it just shows their full name so it’s hard to @reply quickly, I have to click on their profile to look it up.
-I’m all for vertical resizing as you mentioned above. Some of the people I want to follow twitter constantly and the screen fills up fast.

Great widget. The one feature I’d really like is the ability to resize the widget so I can see more on the screen. Another nice-to-have would be the ability to change the font.

I like this widget except one thing bothers me a bit. It is hard to scroll through the tweets list because every time there is network activity it resets the scroll back to the top of the list and I lose my place.

How do I know which version of Twitgit I’m using? It doesn’t say on the ‘info’ side of the widget.

Actually, if you enter a valid username but invalid password twidget will download your twitters but (as stated) just sits there if you try to post. Very nice otherwise. I have been waiting for someone to do a great widget like this!
